Love + creativity + strong work ethic = Ali and Jason. These two are two of the most passionate and driven people we’ve worked with, and this past weekend it was our honor to photograph their wedding celebration! Over two days, Ali and Jason celebrated with friends and family. There was plenty of food and drink. And even more love and laughter. Ali and her mom, Charlene, knocked the details of this weekend out of the park! So many little details were incorporated to truly make this celebration about Ali and Jason’s love for one another, and we loved them all!
Friday we celebrated Ali and Jason’s ceremony, followed by a family dinner at The Accomac. While the weather may have forced us to use a backup plan, Ali and Jason’s ceremony was 100% about their new beginning as husband and wife. Here are just a handful of photos that we captured on Day 1.
Ali designed all of the printed material for the event.
Ali even handpainted her Tom’s!
When Ali’s mom brought her wedding gown from the closet, I knew we had to get them both in the same photo.
All of the personal touches truly made this celebration about Ali and Jason. Ali, who is also a harpist, created this beautiful bouquet out of paper! She was sure to include sheet music.
Ali and Jason’s fur baby, Kat, was also an important part of the day.
Ali decided to do three first looks! One with each of her dads, and then one with Jason. Each of these men were equally impressed by Ali’s bridal attire!
Thank goodness, Ali and her parents have friends who offered to host an indoor ceremony last minute! Huge thanks to Kuhner Associates.
Traditional, they are not. Ali and Jason asked their grandmothers to be flower girls!
Kat’s best friend, Hank, was also in the bridal party! By the end of the ceremony they both needed time to do doggie things.
The second floor of The Accomac was perfect for the intimate dinner Ali had planned for her closest friends and family.
Day 2 – coming soon!
