Who: Hannah and Ethan
Where: Mount Joy, PA/Bube’s Brewery
When: January 2020
When we first met Hannah and Ethan, we immediately noticed the quite, steady love and adoration the two shared. The invisible bond that tied them together was beautiful and we knew their special day would be as well.
Even from the beginning of planning, Hannah was certain she didn’t want a large scale event on her wedding day. Instead, she and Ethan envisioned a small gathering with their immediately family and closest friends coming together to celebrate their love. Little did she know that her micro wedding would become a trend in 2020!
Keeping with Hannah’s wedding vision, there were only 21 attendees on this special day, including the bride and groom! They had no wedding party and no formal dancing . Instead, they kept the focus on love and family. In fact, Hannah and Ethan’s held their ceremony in the living room of their historic home!
As guests arrived, they were greeted with greenery salvaged from a local compost and arranged by Hannah’s mother. Inside, the special touches continued with homemade cookies and warm tea for family and friends to enjoy as they mingled before (and after) the ceremony.
After photographs with their loved ones, Hannah and Ethan arranged for their guests to enjoy cocktails and hor d’oeuvres at Bube’s Brewery. Before dinner, guests were also treated to a tour that ended in the catacombs. There they shared a meal and conversation with the bride and groom. From beginning to end, the details were perfect and the day truly represented Hannah and Ethan.
