We couldn’t have asked for a better end to our 2015 wedding season! Louisa and Erik shared a beautiful autumn day with their sweet family and friends.
Louisa’s family hosted the celebration on their farm. When we visited the farm earlier in the summer, Louisa took us on a grand tour and shared her vision for this day. We were so excited to see it all come to fruition! Louisa, Erik, and their families certainly put a lot of love into Louisa’s vision!
What is normally a hay barn was converted to a beautiful reception space complete with family quilts and heirlooms.
We LOVE the ‘seating’ chart Louisa and Erik created!
Louisa and Erik both got ready in her parent’s farm house. Louisa upstairs, and Erik downstairs.
Perfectly stunning.
Louisa wanted the first time she saw her dad to be special. Having little girls of our own, these first looks always pull at our heart-strings.
Louisa made the boutineers for the little boys and floral crowns for the little girls!
At Louisa’s bridal shower, friends and family painted on wood pieces. They hung from a tree leading to the ceremony space. What a wonderful touch!
The anticipation is real.
Erik was equally as excited to see Louisa.
Louisa, Erik, and Louisa’s father crafted the gorgeous arbor they stood beneath as they pledged their love for one another.
We couldn’t be happier for the new Mr. & Mrs.
Louisa and Erik chose to have a junior bridal party and they were absolutely adorable!
We LOVE that Louisa and Erik’s head table is the table that normally sits in her parents kitchen and was passed down through Louisa’s dad’s family.
To say the florals were amazing is an understatement. Nature’s Harmony of Camp Hill did a fantastic job bringing Louisa’s vision to life.
This chandelier is another one of Louisa’s creations (with the help of Erik and her father).
This bouquet! Complete with mini cabbages and pheasant feathers that were given to the couple by a relative.
Before being announced to their guests, we took some time to wander the farm and have fun!
You two! Oh. My. Goodness.
A stroll through one of the many fields, complete with deer grazing in the background.
These two are so sweet together.
Capturing real moments of love and laughter!
Special request. Of course!
After using the last bits of light, it was time for the toasts!
No detail was forgotten!
They were mostly nice, with a bit of playfulness thrown in!
Louisa and Erik dedicated numerous songs to both of their parents throughout the night. During this one, we were able to capture them dancing side by side. We love it!
What better way to end the night than to have each of their parents and siblings join them to send paper lanterns into the night sky.
Louisa and Erik (and families), thank you for inviting us to document this special day. We loved spending the day capturing the love you all have for one another!
