This past weekend we had the pleasure of photographing Shannon and Jesse’s wedding celebration! While they grew up just miles from one another, they actually met online. Call it fate, destiny, or divine intervention, these two were definitely made for each other! When we photographed their engagement session, it was easy to see how happy they make one another. They certainly bring out the best in each other and bring joy to each other’s life. We have no doubt that their faith and close knit family will support their journey as husband and wife.
Shannon and Jesse exchanged vows in the church Shannon grew up attending and celebrated with family and friends at Ironstone Ranch afterward! Aside from the vast, beautiful grounds, Ironstone donates all of its net profits to Brittany’s Hope. Shannon has one of the biggest hearts, and her selection of venue was just one more way she gives to others. We hope you enjoy a few highlights from their day!
Shannon and the ladies did all of their final preparations at her parent’s house.
Peonies and roses! Two of our favorites!
Shannon’s grandmother sewed the bunny she had when she was a baby into the layers of Shannon’s gown.
Shannon and Jesse wrote touching letters to one another to read before their ceremony.
Jesse’s letter included a surprise! Shannon had the inside of his ring engraved!
Jesse and the groomsmen enjoyed getting ready in his recently finished man cave, complete with a bar and pool table!
Just before walking down the aisle, Shannon and Jesse took a few minutes to pray together.
Finally, Mr. & Mrs.!
Shannon described her theme as sophisticated country, and Ironstone provided the perfect setting!
When we first met Shannon and Jesse, I (April) immediately fell in love with her sense of humor! These two are always making each other laugh and smile!
High grass, Shannon? As she apprehensively looked at me. Jesse quickly agreed, and so in we went.
It’s been a while since we’ve seen a cake smash to this degree!
Shannon & Jesse, what a beautiful day! Thank you for inviting us to document such a special time in your lives! Blessings for a lifetime of love and laughter.
