Who: Chrissy + Nick
When: October 2020
Where: Acadia National Park
This session is near and dear to our hearts. Over the past fifteen years, Chrissy has become a fifth member of our family. We’ve watched as she graduated high school, followed her dreams to pursue a career in PT, and find someone who loves her unconditionally [and spoils her rotten].
Chrissy has also watched our kids grow from diapers to college! And during that time our daughters have kept a close eye on her suitors! I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Nick has exceeded any hopes we had for Chrissy’s husband.
So when Chrissy reached out and asked if Bryan and I would take engagement photos, I was honored, and over the moon. The only caveat? Chrissy and Nick were hoping to return to where Nick proposed. Acadia National Park.
Spoiler alert: WE SAID “HECK YES!”
Planning a weekend getaway during the fall wedding season is tricky, and we were a bit worried that the fall foliage would be gone by time we arrived. Much to our surprise, we arrived to mostly full, colorful trees! Over the course of two days we hiked, searched for carriage bridges, got lost a time or two, laughed, and took plenty of photos.
We couldn’t be happier for these two, and are so excited to see where this new chapter takes them.
