Last weekend we returned to Stoltzfus Homestead for Cassie and Lucas’ wedding celebration! Since Lucas proposed, Cassie has been planning the rustic details for this day. From cowgirl boots to butterflies, lace, and pearls, everything came together beautifully! Cassie’s dad even made the birch arbor that she and Lucas exchanged vows beneath.
Cassie and Lucas met in high school and have fallen more in love with one another since. Their shared love of hunting, fishing, and the great outdoors has led them on some fantastic adventures together. And while there will always be a competitive spirit between them, they are also always rooting for the other to succeed.
With a zip of the dress and the addition of a veil, Cassie transformed into a beautiful bride right before our eyes.
Cassie and Lucas chose to have a few private moments before walking down the aisle.
While there are many locations on property to hold a ceremony, Cassie chose the side lawn facing the Tobacco Barn.
There’s no denying that they both smile just a bit bigger when they are together!
Guests enjoyed cocktails and yard games before a passing shower hurried everyone inside the Grand Barn.
Before the guests entered the barn, Cassie had an opportunity to see it completely decorated. “It’s like a dream.”
Despite the heat, Cassie enjoyed dancing the night away!
Cassie and Lucas, thank you for inviting us to be part of such a special day for you and your families! Your dreams came true. The day was beautiful. The details were lovely. And you married your best friend! We wish you both a lifetime of blessings, love, happiness, adventure, and plenty of venison 😉
