Destinee & Carlos chose to exchange their vows in the heart of Lancaster county at White Chimneys Estate.Darrenkamps of Willow Valley created beautiful bouquets for the occasion. They even created a miniature version of Destinee’s bouquet for her daughter to carry!For a bride, sitting for hair and make-up is like the calm before the storm.A gown fit for a princess.Destinee and Carlos’ daughter arrived just in time to watch as her mommy transformed into a beautiful bride.Stunning. Simply stunning.Not to be outdone, this little lady is quite stunning herself!No beginning and no end.Destinee & Carlos wrote letters to one another and read them just moments before the ceremony began. No matter the circumstance, may you both remember those words and the emotions you had while reading them.The garden at White Chimneys is a serene location for a ceremony.Carlos, here come your girls!Although Destinee was a bit nervous before walking down the aisle, once she saw Carlos, she couldn’t stop smiling!Surrounded by their family and friends, Destinee and Carlos were reminded of what it takes to sustain a marriage.Today, starts the next chapter. Write it with care.Although everyone was watching, I don’t think either of them really noticed!The new Mr. & Mrs.Destinee, you are absolutely stunning.And Carlos cleaned up rather well also!The look between a newly married couple never gets old.When we’re asked about how fun it is to photograph weddings, we reply, “Yes, it is fun. But the best part is getting to meet and getting to know wonderful people.” Destinee and Carlos are no exception. They are two of the most kind, caring, giving, and generous people we’ve met.Who says fairy tales are for story books?The barn at White Chimneys is beautifully restored and serves well as a reception space.Could they be any more adorable?The first official dance as husband and wife.It’s a good thing she took a nap, because this little one can dance!No toast is ever complete without a trip down memory lane.Carlos, watching you with your daughter is beautiful.Recreating a photo from their engagement session. This time at sunset with a horse pasture in the background.With only a few minutes between events, we stepped out into the beautiful golden sunlight.Shady Maple catering provided all of the food, including the desserts, and I don’t think any of the guests were disappointed. After all, Shady Maple is kind of a big deal in Lancaster county.They played nice.While these dances may be considered tradition, I love how it gives the bride and groom a few moments to thank a few of the most influential people in their lives.After fifty some years of marriage, this couple offered the newlyweds a few words of wisdom.Nothing like being photobombed by some horses. Destinee, you did say that you wanted a photo with a horse in the background.
